XXL Burgers and Shakes

Being a foodie, I am always in a quest to revitalize the experience of taste buds. A few days back, I, with two others, call them friends or family, happened to be at the XXL Burgers and Shakes. Entering this small two-storey space gave me the vibe of a cozy comfy eating house to relish my food. Aptly named XXL, from The Jaw Breaker to The Hangover, The Wing Master, every burger was appetizing and plus sized.

It was really hard for us to choose a burger from the menu, so three of us decided to give a try to different burgers. We ordered their signature burgers – The Hangover, The Jaw Breaker and Wing Master – and soon ended up nabbing each other’s food. But for that we had to wait for 10 minutes when the food delivered.

The size of the burgers actually justified the name XXL.  Starting from The Hangover, this massively sized burger was rich with a succulent and juicy beef patty, topped with perfectly cooked sunshine fried egg and drizzled with sauces wrapping jalapenos. The first thing my taste buds recognize in a beef burger is the aroma of beef. One can relish it till the last bite.  This ‘The Hangover’ burger was really of its own kind.

The other one sought after savory burger, The Wing Master, which I ordered myself was also the blend of perfectly cooked zinger wrapped in luscious in house sauces and gooey melted cheese.

The same crispy zinger was served in The Jaw Breaker but double in size, surely a feast for zinger lovers but needed some condiments to spruce up the taste. Our meals were served with fresh crispy and salty curly fries.

After finishing the meal, my friend ordered their Chocho Loco shake to curb the quest of our sweet tooth. This shake was smooth, creamy and packed in flavor too but still, the urge to have perfect molten lava was there.

When we finished our meals, the order taker came to us and asked how they can improve their menu, service, and ambiance. So, I gave my reservation regarding no desert. They need to add a few desserts to their menu which would be a great addition.

In conversation with the owner of XXL Burgers, Zakir Rizvi, I further got to know if the quality of food is their foremost priority. He says for their burgers they use brioche buns which contain more milk and butter and give a rich and tender crumb to their burgers.

When I surfaced my point regarding deserts, he explains that they are working on it and they are also about to start breakfast. Great news for the people living near this eatery. Now there is another place which offers breakfast too. So guys go and give a treat to your taste buds with delectable burgers.

Price? Well, it does not put a hole in your pocket.
